Rune not working at marketplace

What happens?
I placed down my rune on the plot and some sort of weird particle plus an error message came up and then the rune turned into normal obsidian. I mined the obsidian and I literally just got normal obsidian...

How to reproduce this bug?
I placed down the rune...

I can't get back up to where it said it... It might have been something to do with not being able to place it or being on the boundry or something (fyi it was inside the boundry) but I'm not sure what the message was exactly. sorry
